Welcome to NuggetyCreek Alpacas
Alpacas have only recently entered our life and they are very addictive. Once you have one, you want more, particularly when crias are born. They are such a delightful and playful animal. Mother Alpacas are generally very devoted to their cria and make a noise which the cria responds to if either has moved away. This bond continues for many months whilst the cria is still being fed by Mum.
Alpacas come in a wide range of colour - at NuggetyCreek we have decided to remain in the white to medium brown colour range. This includes all the shades of fawn which are available.
In setting up our initial purchases we have opted for a range of ages - as we believed that this would provide a strong balance within our group and also provide guidance to maiden Mother as they observe what the older Mums would do.
We were very pleased with the addition of Whitney, she has proven to be an excellent Mum not only to her cria but also guiding Topaz through the steps of Motherhood.

Alawah Whitney DOB: 16.04.2001 IAR 7050 Solid Light Fawn Personality: Whitney is an excellent Mother to Ardal. She is very attentive to his needs and puts his feeding requirements well above hers. Ardal and Whitney are very close and do everything together. They are a joy to watch. |

Kalbari Kiama DOB: 9.05.2003 IAR 54080 Solid Dark Fawn Personality: Kiama is quite the engaging Alpaca. She has a very regal look about her and is quite inquisitive. When she is not pregnant she enjoys cuddles. With Whitney she forms our older group who will provide guidance to the younger female in the pack. |

Flagstaff Spur Topaz DOB: 6.01.2006 IAR 102837 Solid Medium Brown Personality: Just a little over two years of age, Topaz is more mature than her years. Mum to Sapphire, she has raised her well and integrated her within the pack with ease. Slightly more skittish than the others, she is still a very inquisite paca and does love her treats. |

Flagstaff Spur Bella DOB: 16.11.1106 IAR 102805 Solid White Personality: Bella is one of our most recent arrival - she is cautious but curious. She, Blossom and Autumn are the best of friends and can be seen enjoying time in the paddock together. She is particularly fond of lucerne and will defend her little pile any day of the week. |

Flagstaff Spur Sandy DOB: 09.12.2006 IAR: 102820 Solid Medium Fawn Personality - Just like in the movie Grease, Sandy is quite sweet. She loves her treats and play with Sapphire and Ardal. A new bond is also developing with the other maidens. |

Flagstaff Spur Blossom DOB:26.12.2006 IAR 102825 Solid Dark Fawn Personality - Blossom is a lovely alpaca, she has a large range of facial expressions. Very curious and playful she enjoys her time in the paddock with all the alpacas. She has started to play with Ardal and Sapphire. They all have a great time together. |

Flagstaff Spur Autumn DOB: 4.03.2007 IAR 102807 Solid Medium Brown Personality- Autumn is a joy to have, she is inquisitive and a very trusting personality. Loves her treats and any time you spend with her is just fine by her. She gets along with all the other alpacas and plays well with the two crias. A well adjusted young lady. |

NuggetyCreek Sapphire DOB:28.11.2007 IAR Personality - Sapphire has been a joy since she was born. A very easy personality - she plays with every one and particularly welcomed the arrival of Ardal - her playmate. As a reason of this addition, Sapphire has benefited from the extensive mothering provided by Whitney. She always had Topaz and Whitney looking out for her best interests. |

NuggetyCreek Ardal DOB: 3.01.2008 IAR Dark Fawn Personality - When you look at Ardal's photo, you can easily tell that this one is full of mischief and shear joy of living. He is an adored cria of Whitney and has his Mum's full devotion. He truly enjoys his Mum's milk and the treats that now come his way. He loves to romp around the paddock with either Sapphire in tow or in the lead. They have a great time just playing together and when he is tired he just cuddles up to Mum in the paca palace. |
